چکیده

The operator product expansion, of appropriate products of quark fields, is used to find the anomalous dimensions which control the short distance behavior of hadronic wave functions. This behavior in turn controls the high Q2 limit of hadronic form factors. In particular, we relate each anomalous dimension of the non-singlet structure functions to a corresponding logarithmic correction factor to the nominal as(Q2)/Q2 fall off of meson form factors. Unlike the case of deep inelastic lepton-hadron scattering, the operator product necessary here involves extra terms which do not contribute to forward matrix elements. The influence of the hadronic interaction on the pionium wave functions

The influence of the hadronic ππ interaction on the wave functions of pionium (the Coulomb bound π+π− system) at distances ≤ 10 fm is calculated for s-states with principal quantum numbers n ≤ 4. Hadronic ππ potentials are used that reproduce the scattering phase shifts of two-loop chiral perturbation theory. The pionium wave functions ψn(r) are obtained by integrating the coupled Schrödinger e...

THE SPINLESS SALPETER EQUATION AND MESON DYNAMICS

Applying the variational method, the spinless reduced Bethe-Salpeter (RBS) equation is solved for the mesonic systems, and the mass spectra are obtained. The method is applied to the Hamiltonian with the Gaussian and hydrogen-type trial wave functions, and different potential models are examined. The results for the different potentials are in challenge in light mesons, while they are consisten...

In this paper we wish to study hadronic wave functions using an instanton model for the QCD vacuum. The wave functions are defined in terms of gauge invariant Bethe Salpeter amplitudes which we have determined numerically using a Monte Carlo simulation of the instanton ensemble. We find that the pion and the proton, as well as the rho meson and the delta have very similar wavefunctions but obse...

Hadronic spectrum of a holographic dual of QCD.

We compute the spectrum of light hadrons in a holographic dual of QCD defined on AdS5 x S5 which has conformal behavior at short distances and confinement at large interquark separation. Specific hadrons are identified by the correspondence of string modes with the dimension of the interpolating operator of the hadron's valence Fock state. Higher orbital excitations are matched quanta to quanta...

From bubbles to foam: dilute to dense evolution of hadronic wave function at high energy

We derive the evolution of a hadronic light cone wave function with energy at weak coupling. Our derivation is valid both in the high and the low partonic density limit, and thus encompasses both the JIMWLK and the KLWMIJ evolution. The hadronic wave function is shown to evolve by the action of the Bogoliubov-type operator, which diagonalizes on the soft gluon sector the light-cone hamiltonian ...
